FreeSudoku is a free, open source software distributed under the GPL license. Feel free to download, use or distribute it.

Format: Java JAR file (it will run in most of the computers)
Requeriments: It should run in any platform, including Windows, Linux, Apple computers... with a Java environment installed. If you don't know if you have the Java environment, just try to execute it and if it doesn't work check the instructions below.

Instructions:
Just download it on any folder on your computer and doble-click to execute.If it doesn't work you probably need to install the 'Java Runtime environment'. You can find it here: JAVA JRE
From the command line you can also execute it with the next command:
java -jar FreeSudoku.jar
Adding the paths to the java binary and to the FreeSudoku.jar file, if needed.
You need of course a graphical environment like KDE, GNOME, any xwindow or whatever that is not just black and white characters.
